Saturday, August 8, Opera NEO successfully revived and actually reinvented its cabaret night, a traditional festivity held the week before the opening of its annual summer festival, in an online format.
Many shows that have premiered at The Old Globe and La Jolla Playhouse ended up thriving outside of San Diego. That being said, it is really impressive when new work, from smaller regional theatres, finds life in other parts of the country.
