The sophisticated jazz ensemble Quartetinho opened the La Jolla Music Society’s fall season Sunday in the comfortable cabaret setting of The Conrad’s JAI Concert Hall.
On Friday, for the San Diego Symphony’s second concert in the newly renovated Jacobs Music Center, Music Director Rafael Payare chose to perform Gustav Mahler’s formidable Symphony No. 2 in C Minor.
