SanDiegoStory.com Third Year as Best Entertainment Website
October 24, 2017 San Diego, CA – For the third year in a row, this site – sandiegostory.com – won Best Entertainment website in San Diego from the juried San Diego Press Club Awards last night at the annual awards event in the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Development main conference hall.
Retired local broadcaster Hal Clement emceed the ceremonies which honor the best work of journalists, bloggers, videographers and podcasters from the San Diego region. In all, Critics LLC – publisher of sandiegostory.com – took home two Firsts; three Second place awards and four Third place entries. Writers Ken Herman, Kris Eitland and Kraig Cavanaugh were honored along with the members of Critics LLC – Welton Jones, Ken Herman, Kris Eitland, Bill Eadie and Mark Burgess – for the overall award for Best Entertainment Website.
What sets these awards apart with focus on quality over reputation is that the evaluation and ranking of the entries is performed by press clubs in other cities who may or may not know the size or presence of the organizations or people behind an entry.
